Guidelines And Policies

A.S.K. distributes donated equipment in accordance with the priority list below:

To any child with special needs, both physical as well as financial who would benefit from having the appropriate tools within a school environment to assist in their educational needs.

To any individual who has returned to an Adult Learning Centre, and who has demonstrated that special assistance is required in order to obtain the appropriate technology to further their learning.

To any troubled individual who can demonstrate and support that having such tools would be of benefit in order for them to pursue and achieve a successful and rewarding future.

To any individual attempting to return to the work force who can demonstrate that through such a donation they will be afforded the ability to become a viable asset to the community

To any non-profit community drop-in centre designed to remove children from the street by giving those children a home-like environment where they can work, learn and socialize with their peers under a monitored system

The A.S.K. Foundation reserves the right to approve or deny any individual applying for such tools, and monitors its donations through requesting an application be filled out and submitted to A.S.K.'s Board of Director's for consideration. Each applicant is assessed individually on his or her singular merit. Equipment supplied is considered "on loan", and shall be returned upon completion of courses thus allowing for such tools to be placed in another approved applicant's home.

The A.S.K Foundation reserves the right to raise funding for necessary software as seen fit. All funds are used solely for the purposes and operations of the foundation. Neither the founder nor the Board can be held responsible for any misrepresentation of the A.S.K. Foundation.
